Mission Statement

The Green Island Power Authority is a public benefit corporation whose primary mission is to operate, maintain and improve the municipal electric system for the Village of Green Island and to operate hydro-electric generation facilities to provide continuous, reliable electric service to the residents of the Village of Green Island at the lowest reasonable costs consistent with its financial responsibilities to bond holders.
